One thing to know before you start pasting. Top War codes come in two shapes and only one of them is urgent. A jumble like X1LdR2aON is on a short clock, while topwar888 and TOPWAR666 have been handing out gems since 2022. The next section shows the receipts. Redemption is in the game itself, under your profile in Settings, and there is no official website for it.

Which Top War Codes Actually Last?

This is the useful thing to take away from this page, and it costs nothing to check yourself. Top War word codes last for years. Random-string codes last weeks.

The receipt for the first half: Dexerto listed TOP2023, GETONTOP and topwar888 as working in July 2024. Pocket Gamer still listed all three as working on August 2, 2026. Over two years on the same three codes, and AllClash describes topwar888 and TOPWAR666 as evergreen codes that do not expire, worth 200 Gems each.

The receipt for the second half: MayBlessing was tagged as a new code on May 27, 2026, and Pocket Gamer dates it expired on June 10. Two weeks. M1RvK2Sn, D9S1S7x6k6, XSLLxZHG99, K6Jd1TX2D and K5WJ1YsHP all went the same way, and all of them are in the expired table at the bottom of this page.

So when you find a Top War code somewhere, look at its shape first. Letters and numbers jumbled together means redeem it today or lose it. A readable word or a number ending in 666 or 888 usually means you can take your time.

Why Do Other Lists Show Top War Codes That Do Not Work?

Two reasons, and the first one is fixable by reading dates. UCNGame, updated August 1, 2026, sells five codes as working that Pocket Gamer dates expired: MayBlessing (June 10), SoMarchFun (April 3), M1RvK2Sn (December 28), D9S1S7x6k6 (September 27) and XSLLxZHG99 (September 27). It never moves a code to an expired section, so its list only ever grows. We use it to check spellings, which it gets right, and for nothing else.

The second reason is subtler. Pocket Gamer’s expiry dates carry no year. “M1RvK2Sn (expires December 28th)” reads like a date still to come if you land on the page in August, and it is not: that code died in 2024. The dates in our expired table below say what they mean.

Two more lists are worth naming so you do not waste time on them. Dexerto’s page is titled for the current month and its byline reads Updated: Jul 03, 2024, which is a two-year gap. It is still useful, and it is where the reward amounts on this page come from, but not for deciding what works today. AllClash publishes a code list that renders as a broken widget.

What Happened to the Top War Crossover Codes?

Top War has run a run of licensed crossovers and each one shipped its own code. Every one of them is now dead: TWxGIJOE for G.I. Joe, TWxEVA2 and EVAxTW for Evangelion, PacificRimTW for Pacific Rim, and TOPWARTF2, topwarTF, TFAugust and TF3July2022 across the Transformers events.

These codes are tied to the event window rather than to a date the game announces, so a crossover code you find after the collaboration has ended is always expired, however recently the page you found it on was updated. They are in the expired table below so you can stop looking for them.

Where to Find More Top War Gift Codes

Rivergame hands out Top War codes through the game’s own social channels, mainly the official Facebook and Instagram accounts, its Discord and the community subreddit, usually around holidays, anniversaries and crossover events. There is no announcement board that collects them, which is why the random-string codes are so easy to miss: they surface in one post and are gone within a fortnight. How to Redeem Top War Gift Codes

Redeeming Top War codes takes under a minute. Here are the steps:

1. Open Top War and tap your profile portrait in the top left corner of the screen.
2. Open the Settings menu from your profile.
3. Select Gift Code.
4. Paste the code exactly as written, capitals included, and confirm. Rewards arrive in your in-game inbox.
5. There is no official Top War website for redeeming codes. If a page sends you to one, it is not run by the developer.

How to Redeem Top War Codes on iPhone (iOS)

The route is identical on iPhone and iPad, because Top War redeems codes inside the game rather than on a website: profile portrait, Settings, Gift Code, paste, confirm. Nothing about it is platform specific, and there is no browser step to fall back on if you cannot find the button.

One thing that catches iOS players out: iPhone keyboards capitalise the first letter of a field by default, and these codes are case-sensitive. HappYEasteR and topwar888 are refused if the capitals come out wrong, so paste rather than type.

Tips for Using Top War Gift Codes Effectively

Once your codes are in, a few things make the rewards go further:

• Copy, never type. Top War mixes cases and digits inside single codes (X1LdR2aON, HappYEasteR, K1DxLDsh2), and a wrong character is refused exactly like an expired code.
• Judge a code by its shape. A random jumble is on a two-week clock. A word or a 666 or 888 code has usually been alive for years.
• Redeem on each account you run. Codes are single use per account, not per player.
• Ignore any list showing an expiry with no year. The biggest Top War list prints day and month only, so codes that died in 2024 read as though they expire this winter.
• Skip the crossover codes. Anything named for G.I. Joe, Evangelion, Pacific Rim or Transformers ended with its event and will not come back.

What Are Top War Gift Codes?
