This page lists the cookies and similar technology boostbot.org uses, what each one is for, and how to turn the optional ones off. Read it with the Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Pixels, local storage, and tracking scripts do much the same job, and everything on this page applies to them too.
1. The honest position today
We have to be straight with you about this, because it affects what you can control.
The site loads Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta pixel, the Brevo script, and WonderPush push notifications as soon as a page opens, without asking you first. One of them, the Meta pixel cookie _fbp, is set on your very first visit.
Under United Kingdom and European Union rules, the analytics and advertising ones should wait until you agree. They do not. We are installing a consent banner that asks first and blocks them until you answer, with a Reject button that is as easy to press as Accept.
Until that banner is live, section 5 explains how to block them yourself, and we will honour any request you send to support@boostbot.org.
2. Cookies we need to run the site
These do jobs you asked for. Without them the shop, the login, and the security checks stop working, so there is no way to switch them off and still use the site.

3. Cookies that measure how the site is used
These tell us which pages work and which do not. Turning them off costs you nothing.

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted.
4. Cookies for advertising and messaging

If you never allowed push notifications, WonderPush holds nothing that identifies you.
5. How to turn the optional ones off today
In your browser. Every browser can block or delete cookies for one site. Look for Privacy and Security in the settings, then Cookies and site data. Blocking third party cookies stops most of section 4 without breaking the shop.
With a browser feature or extension. Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, Safari Intelligent Tracking Prevention, and any reputable content blocker will stop the analytics and advertising scripts on this site.
Google Analytics specifically. Google publishes an opt-out add-on for desktop browsers that stops Analytics reporting on every site you visit.
Push notifications. Your browser’s site settings hold the notification permission. Set it to Block for boostbot.org and WonderPush cannot reach you.
Ask us. Email support@boostbot.org and we will delete the analytics and marketing records tied to you, as far as each supplier lets us.
Blocking the cookies in section 2 will break the basket, the checkout, or the login. That is not us being awkward, it is what those cookies do.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Most sites ignore the browser Do Not Track header, because no standard ever said what it should mean. Once our consent banner is live it will read the Global Privacy Control signal and treat it as a refusal of the optional cookies, with no extra click from you.
7. Changes
We will update this page when a script is added or removed. The date at the top shows the last edit. When the consent banner goes live, section 1 comes off this page and a Cookie Settings link appears in the footer.
