Viking Rise hands out gift codes for anniversaries, kingdom milestones and holiday events, and IGG leaves a lot of the older ones switched on. That is why this list runs to 44 codes while the holiday codes from three months ago are already dead.

Codes are case-sensitive and take no spaces, so copy them rather than typing them. Each one works once per account.

What Do Viking Rise Codes Actually Give You?

Viking Rise does not tell you what is in a code before you redeem it, and it does not publish a reward list afterwards either. That is why you will not find per-code reward amounts here: nobody outside IGG has them, and any site printing exact quantities for 44 codes is guessing.

What players do report getting: speed-ups, gems, resources, and settlement items like newbie relocators, naming rocks and expansion orders. Anniversary and milestone codes tend to pay more than the monthly ones.

How to Redeem Viking Rise Gift Codes

Redeeming takes about twenty seconds:

1. Open Viking Rise and tap your avatar in the top-left corner.
2. Open Settings.
3. Tap the gift box icon.
4. Paste the code and tap redeem.
5. Open your in-game mailbox. Rewards arrive there, not straight into your warehouse.

If a code fails, the cap is the usual culprit rather than a typo. Codes tied to a creator or an anniversary carry a redemption limit, and once it fills the code errors even though every list still shows it as active.

How to Date a Viking Rise Code Yourself

IGG names these codes to a pattern, which is handy when you land on a list that has not been touched in a year:

• VRTD plus a month and a two-digit year (VRTDJUN25) is a monthly code from that month.
• VRKINGDOM plus a number marks a kingdom-count milestone. These have stayed live the longest.
• Holiday names carry the year (VRXEASTER26, VRXMAS2025). A holiday code whose year has passed is almost always dead, whatever the site says.

Where New Viking Rise Codes Come From

IGG posts codes on the official Viking Rise Facebook page and Discord, and drops them around anniversaries, kingdom milestones, championship events and update streams. The 2026 batch is heavy on IGG’s own 20th anniversary, which is why four separate codes point at it.

Either it expired, you already used it, or its redemption cap filled. VR3YEARS and JOHNNYS26GIFTS both have limited uses and will error once they run out, even while other sites keep listing them. Check the expired table below, then check for a trailing space.

Do old Viking Rise codes still work?

Many do. The VRKINGDOM milestone codes have been redeemable since 2024, and VR777 and AWAKENFIRSTO are still going. Holiday codes are the opposite: they die within weeks.
