Rise Of Kingdoms Kvk Guide: Lost Kingdom Checklist

Rise of Kingdoms KvK Guide: Lost Kingdom Checklist

This Rise of Kingdoms KvK guide is for governors preparing for their first trip to the Lost Kingdom. It settles when KvK starts, which City Hall level you need, how matchmaking works and what must be ready before the map opens.

When Does My Kingdom Get Its First KvK?

A kingdom’s first KvK begins about 100 days after the kingdom was created. Treat that 100-day build-up as your preparation window, since your commanders, equipment, troops, resources, speedups and hospital all need work before the fighting starts.

A Rise of Kingdoms bot can run the home-kingdom daily loop, including gathering, training queues and the repeat tasks that build your stockpile during those 100 days. It does not play KvK and does not fight on the Lost Kingdom map.

After the first KvK, later seasons run roughly every 2 months. The Eve of Crusade event unlocks access to the Lost Kingdom, so that event marks the point when the preparation period leads into the new map.

What City Hall Level Do I Need for KvK?

City Hall 16 or higher is the base requirement for teleporting into the Lost Kingdom. KvK 1 and KvK 2 have a City Hall 17 requirement, while newer seasons require City Hall 25.

What you want to doCity Hall level needed
Teleport into the Lost KingdomCity Hall 16 or higher
Enter KvK 1 or KvK 2City Hall 17
Enter a newer seasonCity Hall 25

Check the row for the KvK you are entering, not only the base teleport requirement. If this is your kingdom’s first KvK, prepare for the City Hall 17 requirement before the Eve of Crusade unlocks access.

Teleport rules also change once you are inside. Only Territorial Teleports work in the Lost Kingdom, and you can move only within territory controlled by your own alliance.

How Does KvK Matchmaking and the Lost Kingdom Map Work?

Matchmaking uses the power of the top 1000 players in each kingdom. It adds that power together and pairs kingdoms with similar aggregate power. Several kingdoms can share a camp when their power lines up.

This means the matchmaking figure comes from the kingdom’s top 1000 players rather than one governor. Kingdoms with similar totals can meet, and more than one kingdom can be placed in the same camp.

The Eve of Crusade unlocks access to the Lost Kingdom. Once inside, the objective is to push from a corner of the map toward the centre and take the Lost Ziggurat.

Movement depends on alliance territory. Since only Territorial Teleports work, a governor cannot move to any open point on the Lost Kingdom map. The destination must sit within territory controlled by that governor’s own alliance.

What Should I Have Ready Before the KvK Map Opens?

Prepare the parts of your account that affect fighting, recovery and how long you can keep going. The required checklist is short, but every item should be handled before the Lost Kingdom opens.

  • Commanders prepared for the troops you will send.
  • Commander equipment ready before fighting begins.
  • A resource stockpile built during the preparation period.
  • Tier 4 troops ready for the Lost Kingdom.
  • As many speedups as possible saved before the map opens.
  • A hospital upgraded before the fighting starts.

Build the resource stockpile before the season instead of waiting for access to open. While stockpiling, check current Rise of Kingdoms gift codes as another part of your preparation.

Keep commanders and commander equipment on the same check. Then confirm your Tier 4 troops, saved speedups, resources and hospital are ready before fighting starts. The hospital check deserves special care because casualties can exceed its available space.

What KvK Mistakes Cost the Most Troops?

The first major mistake is sending the wrong troop type to a flag or rally. When the troop type does not match, the commander’s skills switch off. Check the troop type before sending the march.

The second major mistake is entering the fighting with a hospital that is too small for the casualties. When the hospital cannot hold the wounded troops, those wounded troops become dead troops. Upgrade the hospital before fighting begins.

Both mistakes can be checked before a march leaves or a battle starts. Match the troop type for every flag and rally, then make sure the hospital has been upgraded for the casualties that may arrive.
